OVA “Tamayura” by “ARIA” director Junichi Sato to come out next Winter

Junichi Sato's new OVA is to come out next winter, and it'll be the first original story he's written since Kaleido Star(2003). Screenwriter Reiko Yoshida and other staff members from ARIA will join the production.

Dubbed a "Healing Story", Tamayura follows the lives of highschool girls in Takehara, Hiroshima, a coastal town facing the Inland Sea.

Kaede Sawatari, a 10th grader who loves to take pictures with her late father's 35mm film camera, moves to Takehara, Hiroshima where her father grew up. There she meets warmhearted townspeople and makes new friends, and take pictures of people and scenery in the beautiful town. Sometimes, her camera captures magical lights called "Tamayura" that glows when people are happy.
