JoJo’s Bizarre “Hanafuda” Playing Cards

Bandai is to release a set of JoJo-themed Hanafuda playing cards, featuring the 4th story arc Diamond is Unbreakable of the manga.

It's so cool that they did this in Hanafuda(lit. flower cards: Japanese playing cards essentially used for gambling) instead of ordinary trading cards.

Read on for details and pics.

The whole kit.

The cards look gorgeous.

Rohan Kishibe saying "Daga Kotowaru (Nevertheless, I refuse.)" and Josuke Higashikata.

Left: Neko-kusa (Cat Weed), reincarnation of Stray Cat. Right: Bonding time for Josuke, Koichi and Okuyasu.

The kit includes a zabuton patterned with Yoshikage Kira's crest.

Of course you can sit on it, but it'll also be a perfect place to deal the cards.

Dices, presumably the ones Mikitaka Hazekura transformed into.

Comes with little kinchaku bag to keep the dices.

The handbook stands like a byobu screen.

Now available for pre-order via Premium BANDAI for 7,980 yen (about $86), to be shipped in mid December. The orders must be placed by 17:00 Oct. 26 at the latest.
