Today is the annual Disaster Prevention Day in Japan, designated to commemorate the Great Kanto earthquake on September 1, 1923.

To remind people of the importance to be prepared for earthquakes and other such disasters, confectionery Lotte launched a new poster for Koala's March featuring characters from Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, the ongoing anime depicting the consequences of a 8.0 scale earthquake hitting Tokyo in near future.

The poster is designed to promote Lotte's new product "Koala's March Canned Biscuit" released on August 4, which can be stored up to three years and used as emergency provisions.

Mirai Onosawa is saying "I wish I could eat this right now" while her younger brother Yuuki reminds her "Sis, these are for emergencies!"

The poster will be put up at stores that stocks the biscuit.
