The "Kudamemo" note-pads designed by Masashi Tentaku are the latest release from Japanese product design project D-BROS.
"Kudamemo" is a combined word of "Kudamono (Fruit)" and "Memo", and as you can see, they're shaped and wrapped like real fruits.

There are all kind of USB lights out there to illuminate your keyboard in the dead of night, but this one is apparently the very first in the world (according to the maker) to use the eco-unfriendly, farthest-from-green, notorious incandescent light bulb.
Japan Trust Technology is to release "USB Hadaka Denkyu Showa Roman Series (lit. USB Naked Lightbulb Showa Roman Series)" designed with the theme "Showa Retro" to remind you of the good old days when there were no such things like LED or global warming.

Tanabata festival is celebrated in Japan every year on July 7 (or August 7 according to lunisolar calendar). We wish upon the lovers Orihime and Hikoboshi stars (Vega and Altair), write our wishes on paper strips called tanzaku and hang them on decorated bamboo trees.
There's a shrine called Tanabata Jinja located in Ogori, Fukuoka and they're launching a unique online service called "Ogori Tankentai" in which you can make your wish online and the good people at Ogori will make it a tanzaku, dedicate it to the actual Tanabata Shrine. If you submit your e-mail address they'll even send you a picture of the tanzaku afterward.

It's gotta be good news for Groove Adventure Rave fans. Mashima Hiro's rip-roaring manga "FAIRY TAIL" is being adapted to anime and starts airing from this autumn.
Following the anime adaption of RAVE, this will be the second anime adaption from Mashima's works. There were 51 episodes made for RAVE, let's see how far FAIRY TAIL can go.

As Wonder Festival is changing the site from Tokyo Big Sight to Makuhari Messe Chiba due to the accident on a escalator, hotels around Makuhari Messe are completely booked. This APA Hotel & Resort [Tokyo Bay Makuhari] is no exception. All the single rooms are stuffed with reservation.
So, following the review on the twin room, we got some images and videos of the single room.

Wonder Festival 2009 summer, the larget event specialized on garage kits, is coming on this July 26. As it's the first Wonder Festival in a year, so many dealer are to gather at the site.
The event is held at Makuhari Messe, Chiba. Since this APA Hotel & Resort is connected to the site by pedway, the single-bed room is completely booked. But, there still are some vacancy in higher grade room.

Fresh Pretty Cure!, the 6th Pretty Cure anime series has been airing since February 2009. A movie adaption titled "Fresh Pretty Cure! Omocha no Kuni ha Himitsu ga Ippai!? (Fresh pretty Cure: So Many Secrets in Toy Wonderland)" was announced to premiere on Saturaday October 31.

In January 2008, we reported that Sony is hiring engineers for developing old-PS emulators. And now some patents to enable PS2 games to run on PS3 are filed by the company.
First lot of PS3 had both PS3 and PS2 chipsets for backward compatibility. But on 40GB model released in Nov. 2007 and ongoing 80GB model, Sony canceled PS2 chipset for price competitiveness, which became a focus of criticism.

Kanazawa, Ishikawa is a beautiful city with unique history and has many tourist attractions including Kenroku-en garden, Kanazawa Castle and 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art.
